Hiking

Middelkerke offers various walks that allow you to discover the history and the environment of this beautiful coastal village. The Slijpewandeling takes you through the vast polder landscape. During the Fleriswandeling you will learn more about the mythical figure of Fleris, the devilish farmhand. If you prefer a walk along the coast, choose the Ter Strepewandeling.
The erfgoedwandelroute Westende is a fout-kilometre route marked with rivets and takes you along the historic sights and some contemporary works of art.
