Halfway down the Belgian coast you will find Middelkerke, the municipality in which Westende is located. A suitable destination for long beach walks and beautiful cycling tours through the dunes and polders.

The casino and the cultural centre are the spots not to be missed in Middelkerke. The whole year there are activities to experience, but the most important are the beer weekend, the fishing weekends and the cartoon festival.
